This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we collect, process and use the personal data you provide to us while using Neuroscience Hub (hereinafter, the “Website”).

2. Which personal data do we process?
Within the provision of the services offered by the Website, Ferrer will process the following categories of data:
- Identification and contact data: name, last name, email and country of residence.
- Professional data: company or healthcare center where you work and medical specialty.
- Content of suggestions and opinions: Specific information that you choose to include in the suggestion box, such as ideas, learning needs for future educational modules, opinions, or other comments that you decide to share.
3. How do we use your personal data and what is the legal basis for its processing?
Ferrer will process the personal data you provide for the purpose of managing your registration for the training activities, facilitating your access to the user area and the learning modules, and sending you information of interest related to such activities. This processing is legally based on the performance of the contract you enter into with FERRER when registering for these services.
Additionally, where you have given your consent and you are located in a country where Ferrer has a direct presence, Ferrer may share your contact details with the relevant Ferrer’s Group company in your country of residence for the purpose of sending you relevant information about its products related to your specialty or professional interests. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before such withdrawal.
Finally, if you provide personal data or information when sharing ideas or needs for future educational modules through the suggestion box, FERRER will process this information based on its legitimate interest in improving its services. However, we strongly recommend that you do not include personal data in the suggestion box.
4. What other recipients will the data be disclosed to?
In accordance with the processing purposes stated and subject to your prior consent, your personal data may be shared with the Ferrer Group company operating in your country of residence for the purpose of sending you relevant information about its products that may be of interest to you. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by legal obligation.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, third-party service providers may access your personal data on behalf of FERRER, acting as data processors, where such access and processing are necessary for the provision of specific services to FERRER. In such cases, these third parties will process your personal data exclusively in accordance with FERRER’s instructions and only for the purposes determined by FERRER in each case, and under no circumstances for their own purposes.
5. International data transfer
As a general rule, Ferrer will not carry out international transfers of your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). However, where you have expressly consented to the disclosure of your personal data to a FERRER Group company and such company is located outside the EEA, your personal data may be transferred to that company solely for the purposes for which you gave your consent. In such cases, Ferrer will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. How long do we retain your personal data?
We will process your personal data while the course and learning modules will remain available. Once this course has ended, such information will be deleted, unless it must be retained, duly blocked, to comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where you have given your consent for specific processing purposes, we will process your personal data for as long as such consent remains valid, unless you withdraw it earlier.
7. What are your rights?
You may exercise at any time the following rights related to your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. Please find more information below:
- Access: You may obtain a confirmation if FERRER if processes your personal data, as well as consult your personal data included in FERRER’s database.
- Rectification: You may modify your personal data when it’s inaccurate and complete those that are incomplete.
- Erasure: You may request your personal data to be deleted if, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
- Objection: You may request that your personal information be processed. Ferrer will stop processing the data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing or for the exercise or defense of legal claims.
- Restriction of processing: You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in the following cases:
- While the accuracy of your personal data is verified;
- When the data processing is considered illegal, as a data subject you may object to the erasure of your data and request its use to be limited;
- When Ferrer no longer needs your personal data, but you need them for the exercise or defence of legal claims;
- When you have objected to the processing of your data for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or to achieve a legitimate interest, while it is verified if the legitimate reasons for the processing prevail over yours.
- Portability: You may receive, in electronic format, the personal data that you have provided to us and those obtained as a consequence of our contractual relationship, and also transmit them to another controller.
In order to exercise such rights, you may send a written request proving your identity and expressly indicating which of the above-listed rights you wish to exercise by email to the address dataprotectionSP@ferrer.com. Keep in mind, however, that the exercise of certain rights may be limited due to the need to comply with the legitimate interests of FERRER, as well as in the case of having to comply with a legal obligation.
You may exercise any of these rights free of charge, unless it’s manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Please be informed that you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), located at C/Jorge Juan núm. 6 de 28001 Madrid, in case you consider that FERRER has not process your data according to applicable law.
